What are they scared of? According to the statement of director of IMF in 2018, they tend to regulate the use of cryptocurrency. From that statement i could think that they are afraid of invovlment of crypto in illegal activities. Well that's something we all should avoid and report.

Secondaly, i do no think it is impossible for countries took loan from imf to legalize crypto. Because list of loan recipent countries from imf is long enough. But some countries from that list legalized the btc or crypto.

I.e Ukrain. They legalized it but imposed some limitations on it for regulated usage of it.

Maybe those countries had paid off there debts maybe whatever. But there is still hope for cryptocurrency to be legalized in pak. But what benefit this legalization will bring to Pakistan. Thats what the main question should be?.
