Besides that klidex is right, bets are open since several days and the pools are still very low, only few hundreds of bets have been placed till now while Oscars ceremony will be held in only 2 weeks.
As I said before, the Oscars only have a fraction of the popularity they had say 10 years ago. I realised that last year after loads of people commenting on social media that they wouldn't even know about the Oscars if it wasn't for Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on stage.
Holywood is, and always has been, utter garbage with nothing to offer. Looking at the bets I'm not even familiar with most of those names, and I'm happy with that.

I get what you are saying and I can follow you in that. Sometimes it seems that Hollywood has no more inspiration and just makes sequels and remakes of classics. The last couple of years they have been on the downwards path but from time to time I still love a real Hollywood movie like Top Gun 2 or Avatar 2.
