And so the teams at the top of the table are consistently failing to pick up points. However, this has made Ligue 1 more competitive.
They (Marseille, Monaco and Lens) are participating in their own exciting race for a second position in Ligue 1. The first position for a champion belongs to PSG, I am not doubtful at any day about that. With Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and good midfielders like Veratti, Vitinha, it's a big shock if PSG won't win Ligue 1 in this season. Messi has better adaptation in his second season in Paris and his contribution is bigger. This helps Neymar and Mbappe have more chances to score goals and will prevent other clubs to take the championship title from PSG.
Among three clubs Marseille, Monaco and Lens, they are similar and it's really hard to predict what team will end with a second position. They don't have big differences in player quality and total points and anything can be changed on the final day.
There is a gap between the second and first place of the league, Marseille and PSG.
