I have 3 in the house. They allow me to run core wallets safely. They are more secure than windows in general. less secure that linux. But you can run linux on them.
I thought that a safe use case for cryptocurrencies is a hardware wallet. I do not like Mac laptops, because in Russia the price for them has always been 50-100% more expensive than the market price. This was before the sanctions and now. And their repairs are very expensive.
