Erik Ten Hag has done a good job improving Manchester United in just a short time. This shows that experience matters so much in handling managerial positions something I think Graham Potter is still lacking but I won't rate Manchester United to win the Europa league now because their are still good teams who actually match their stats still competing for the trophy.
I'd put them among the top contenders for the Europa league title this season. Their brilliant performance against Barcelona earned them their current position. I don't think their next Europa League opponent, Betis, will put up as much of a fight as Barcelona did. Manchester United currently outperforms Betis and could easily eliminate them from the league.
Eric Ten Hag has thus improved Manchester United football in a short period of time, but his managerial ability when he first started building the team was far superior to Graham Potter of Chelsea.
