Before now Manchester United have been in a very poor state despite having the greatest player of all time present in the team but just few months after Ronaldo's departure to Saudi squad, Ten Hag has managed to turn things around and even going ahead to win the league cup, I know many people will begin to say Ronaldo was the problem in the team judging from what they have been able to achieve after his departure.
Their bad results before Ronaldo departure to Saudi league is not because of Ronaldo. They did not use him a lot in first half of season and it is unfair and dishonest if they told that all bad results are by Ronaldo bad contribution.
Ten Hag did not do his job well in early season but it is explainable as it is a first time he managed a club in Premier League. However so far we can say that Ten Hag has adapted well and has done good jobs for Manchester United. Let's hope that he will continue it in a next one or two seasons to actually build up another Grande United. I hope that Ten Hag won't be another Solskjaer in United and I have reason for my hope, he is a more experienced coach than Solskjaer and he has a successful coach career so far.
It was not easy to eliminate a passer team like Barcelona. Two teams that played in the champions league finals in 2009 and 2011. Until 15 years ago, these two teams were playing in the Champions League final, who would say that time passes so quickly that Manchester United and Barcelona will face each other in this match and Barcelona will be eliminated early. Manchester United maintained its form and passed the tour. Ten Hag seems like will be remembered better than Solskjaer. Presumably they play at least the final.
