Knocking out Barcelona is a big motivation for Ten Hag to make attempts of defeating Betis. But i am convinced Betis will not be as easy as that of Barcelona. So far Xavi has failed to remain in any competition that is outside the Spanish league not because Barcelona isn't good enough but i think their coach is lacking the experience. But for Betis who has moved from the group stage in the Europa league to the round of 16 doing excellently well in all stages it will not be easy for Manchester to defeat. This might be their toughest game in a very long while.

No team at this stage is considered to be a weak team maybe we could consider some as underdogs. If we look at Manchester United previous matches against Spanish teams they always have it hard but the both legs against Barcelona was different. We could mainly say it was because of Barca’s lack of consistency in European competitions but also we have to give credit to Ten Hag on the kind of project he is building currently at Manchester United. I will predict a Manchester United progression to the Last 8 because Real Betis will be without their key player; Naby Fekir, and it will create a huge imbalance in the team
