Ac Milan are not a bad side when it comes to defending, besides they're a better side when it comes to European games than Tottenham Hotspur. With Ibrahimovic return, I'd love to see him feature in that game. Tottenham Hotspur would need two goals to get Ac Milan disqualified.
AC Milan won the home match. Their performance was quite boring. But they were very cunning. Milan's coach is well aware that his squad is not strong enough. So they try to keep their defense strong. And after scoring in the first leg, Milan's main objective throughout the match was to keep the defense tight. And they succeeded. Milan won the match 1-0. They will apply the same tactics in the second leg. If Milan can somehow score the first goal of the match, Tottenham will have no chance of victory. Because Milan's defense is strong enough, Tottenham will have to try to keep their own defense strong from the start of the match.
In the first leg they were able to score a quick goal and that goal was the only goal scored in this match. I see that these two teams are evenly matched and it is possible that in the second leg Tottenham can win by the same score and force the game to be continued in 30 minutes of extra time. However AC Milan will probably play with a better squad than the second leg, so they can keep what they got in the first leg. I don't think this defensive strategy will be a solution for them, because with high pressure it can distract their concentration of defense and that will create gaps that Tottenham can penetrate.
