The majority of American adults believe that more than 150 years after the 13th Amendment ended slavery in the country, the legacy of slavery still affects how black people are treated in modern American culture. According to a recent Pew Research Center study, more than four out of ten respondents believe that racial equality has not been sufficiently advanced in the country. There is also some doubt that black people will ever enjoy equal rights with white people.
Racial and ethnic discrimination still occurs on a daily basis in many parts of the world.i'm of the opinion that someday, maybe in no distant time racism " oppression" of a racial group will be a thing of the past,it will not stay.though there are different forms of racism today that may not be very visible to the ordinary eye's except when looked at closely.i believe that the cure for this ungodly attitude is genuine love void of jealousy, bitterness and hatred, acceptance and the practice of the principles of equality.its high time we together kick this menace of our society cos racism is dumb.
