Maybe for now you are not yet a gambling addict and can still exercise self-control and have certain betting limits.
But I'm not sure you can be like this forever because in gambling everyone who starts can become a crazy gambler where he will no longer think about risks that have no limits and will never be able to exercise self-control.
Just look at some time in the future, you will do all of that in pursuit of a victory, even worse, maybe you will spend big money on each bet.
I can say this because that's what actually happens to gamblers out there.
Your generalisation does not hold water. Some people who gamble responsibly, due to life circumstances, may have problems with gambling in the future, but from there to that being what happens 'to gamblers out there', in general, there is a long way to go. Far from it happening to the majority of gamblers.
