Freiburg seems to have lost its momentum. A draw is too little. They have not played at the level expected of them in recent weeks. The chasers are getting closer slowly and if Freiburg does not win the next games it will be hard for them to keep place 5 or 6. They have to win their next two games. They should be able to do that against Hoffenheim. And a win against Mainz would be important to keep them at distance.
Yes, Freiburg has experienced a decline in performance so it is difficult for them to be in the ranking that will put them in the Champions League. I don't rule out their chances of getting to that place, but they have to continue to be able to make themselves better and not lose a lot of points every week. They need to fix what is the problem in their squad, so they can improve their performance to be in a better place.
There is no doubt about Freiburg but here I have to add few more things about this it's not alone Freiburg if you are able to check all teams which are currently at the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th spots losing their momentum and have decline in performance as well which is surely going to hurt them with few teams which are trying their best for having better spot until end of this season can spoil them which is currently not easy but still possible Mainz and Leverkusen both are doing good job which is good sign in league table but still we have good matches which can change the table, and we can surely expect something which is unusual because soccer is game of surprises and shocks and any result is possible in any league and match.
