I think this is an easy excuse to justify Manchester United's defeat to Liverpool - a crushing and destructive defeat. MU has also overcome very well before their difficult schedule and pressure when they have to plow continuously on 4 tournaments. In fact, MU tried and even had some good moments in the first half. They only lost everything in just 10 minutes of the second half. I think the fatigue is completely right but the whole team has to unite and accept it. their fault in this game. They can't stay focused. Ten Hag must also accept responsibility and fault for that match. MU has made a lot of progress this season but to return to the top position really needs more time for Ten hag, as well as support in the transfer market.
Everyone seems to be saying Manchester United's 7-0 loss to Liverpool was a disaster. But you are partly right, Manchester United have improved under Ten Hag this season but they haven't been completely reliable in all the big match.
The quality of Liverpool's game in the second half was very different, I think that has left Manchester United with no direction and all in chaos. Everyone including De Gea looks damaged, it's the impact of Liverpool's streak of goals in the near future.
I think this is not a bad defeat for MU, it can motivate the team to recognize the remaining problem to be stronger in the following rounds.
I don't agree, it was a very, very bad defeat for Manchester United. Even this match will be the worst history of Manchester United in the Premier League against Liverpool. Even if they can motivate themselves in the next match, history is still history.
