What do you think about the subject? Can you share some enlightening information for me?
The "can bitcoin become a global reserve currency" discussion has been had many times in human history. It has simply taken other forms.
Some believe governments should regulate and control assets like global reserve currencies. Others throughout history have said it is a bad idea for politicians to control the money printing machine. Their view was for aspects of mints and central banks being independently owned and controlled to prevent political conflict of interest. It is one reason why many central banks throughout the world are not under the direct control of their governments. It is also the theory behind many aspects of government being decentralized across a senate rather than centralized within a single person.
Even the european unions monetary supply today may not fall under the direct control of EU leaders.
Perhaps in the future global reserve currencies will follow a similar format. Where they do not fall under the direct control of politicians. I certainly would not mind it. I wonder how others would feel.
