This part is true because you said that the more we gamblers think about recovering our losses, it only increases instead of stopping or cooling down first because it shows that we are not lucky when we gamble.
That's why our fellow gamblers always say that we should only gamble with the amount that we can afford to lose, not the same budget that will be used for our gambling table.
For those that have never seen this it may seem to be completely absurd and irrational that somehow the gambler that cares about his losses is the one that losses the most money, while those that accept them are the ones that lose less money, but it is true.
Those that have the mentality of being accepting when it comes to the money they lose avoid chasing their losses and obtain the fun they were looking for, while those that care about winning not only they fail to reach their goal but end up losing way more money than the rest of the gamblers.
