I would usually like to criticize Hamburg now for once again losing a game during the final phase of the season. That is what they have been doing for years now. Everything looks great for them and exactly in the moment when it becomes so important they start to lose points again. Now in this case it is the first six teams who have not won their games this weekend. Everyone knows that this was even a first little match ball that they all failed to make use of. If one of them had won their game this weekend, it would have been a big jump towards the 1. Bundesliga. Now even St. Pauli could make a step forward. It is 9 points between them and rank 3, but if St. Pauli for some reason keeps winning their games until the end of the season in such a spectacular way (they have won 7 out of 7 games since 2023 beginning), I think they might be able to play a part in the final fight for rank 3.
I see it the same way you do. I was also surprised that none of the teams from place 1 to 6 did not win their match. But I do not understand why Hamburger SV did not take their chance. It seems it was a Psychological problem.
I was also surprised about St. Pauli. They were just a few weeks ago on the way of slipping on a relegation place. But they have taken up the fight against it and are rightly at place 7.
