Records alone are in favor of Donaire, but in terms of potential as an underdog lots are betting on Santiago. Though it is still unclear, but surely enough when the odds are out it'll be in favor of Donaire.
That's in favor of us gamblers who are going to bet for Donaire if suddenly the lines will change if ever there are more bettors for Santiago.
I mean, they should balance it and give out some profits for all who will bet for Donaire.
Fans are also anxious about this announcement since there are already speculations that he will retire if lose this fight. Some even says that due to his age, it'll be a big problem for him. But personally I would like him to fight for more and will be supporting him. His fight against Inoue is really a glimpse of him hitting his limits, so I hope it'll clear everyone's minds if ever he'll win this fight.
I don't think he will retire just yet. I can see that he still feels like a young boxer even today and even had the guts to challenge Moloney for the WBC title. But I guess both boxers are trying to go the easy way to take the belt. Moloney dodges the fight or it's Donaire, it doesn't matter but I do believe these two will try to meet to unite the belts.
