That is an over simplification. Yes... I agree party. Bitcoin owners who are too trusting, less intelligent and having lower levels of computer knowledge are more likely to get hacked compared to others. But at the same time, we take proud comfort in saying to the general public that the Bitcoin is a currency for everyone, not just the high-IQ types.
I really wouldn't equate intelligence with the ability to take the necessary precautionary measures to prevent loss of their
BTC. While intelligent people may be more likely to read about how to have security in place - so too can a layman provided they aren't lazy/disinterested. Anyway, I wouldn't be too worried - most people using it at the moment are somewhat tech savvy and the corporations that support
BTC in the future will help to babysit the people who are less knowledgeable in these matters.
