The thing is that the vote was to choose a logo and its variations, however, the chosen one and its variation are only b&w, so the vote should be between the two of them, not between different color scheme.
Now it seems that the people who want the most to change the color are the ones who were against that logo in the first place... So no I'm not trying to subvert the democratic process.
Honestly, I never expected any designer would get it exactly right (as far as community consensus goes). We voted on the logo -- nobody has had a chance to vote on the colour palette yet. The chosen colour palette is super important to the design / branding of everything going forward.
This process is not going to take long, if that's what's bothering you. Maybe a few days to a week, and hopefully the discussion can be contained over at darkcointalk. If you're worried the vote will go against a b&w version, you have to consider the implication that your preference goes against the majority. Personally I have no idea what a vote will say once people have considered the submitted variants. It may well be the b&w version. But I'm happy for the community to decide, even if my personal preference is for a coloured version.
