I was looking for some coins to buy in the market,and I discovered that Solana price is too low for me to use huge amount of money to buy and hold like the way I have used my salary to purchased Bitcoin last month. Solana price has decreased to $19 few days ago that made me to ask if the price will increase to $40 this year, do you believe Solana investors will experience $40 or more than $40 this year? I have seen many massive moved of other coins price that made me to feel the same with Solana price because am very ready to invest in Solana, if I can get positive answers from this topic.
I think it's possible for Solana to reach $40 this year, especially if Bitcoin continues its current strong trend. However, it's important to consider the risks mentioned by adaseb above. I've been a big supporter of Solana for the past two years, but I have to admit that the network outages at this stage are concerning. Aside from that, while the NFT sector is thriving, Solana's DeFi scene hasn't returned to its previous activity level. This makes me question whether there will be enough renewed interest in Solana's DeFi, especially considering some of the popular L2 chains like Arbitrum and zkSync, which are still in development but generating a lot of hype.
Before making any decisions, I'd recommend trying out some Solana dApps, particularly those related to NFTs and DeFi. This way, you can see for yourself whether they provide value and gain some conviction in your judgment.
