Bitcoin mining, which is necessary to validate transactions on the blockchain, requires significant amounts of energy. Critics argue that the energy consumption associated with Bitcoin is unsustainable and contributes to climate change.

what do you think?

Yes, that's right, and soon Bitcoin will use up all the energy and you'll be left in the dark, so you won't be able to spin words or engage in plagiarism anymore Wink

Bitcoin really consumes a lot of energy, but as some have already mentioned, it is even less than 0.5%, of which at least half (if not more) is from renewable energy sources. If they rounded up the annual consumption of all mining farms/devices in the world, they could arrive at a figure of about 250 TWh (maybe even 300 TWh), and the calculations say that even about 50 000 TWh is lost annually.

Anyone who advocates the ideas you state is either completely stupid, or has a financial interest in telling lies.
