You sounded undoubtedly a good analogy with a tree. It is impossible to get results instantly and you can't do without waiting in investments. Bitcoin has to "sprout" in your wallet in order to bear the "fruits" of the investment, and this will take time. 5-7 months is not enough here, and "growth" will take more than one year. Bitcoin chart (easy to look at CMC) for the entire period of existence of btc shows well the past "harvest" years.
