I prefer sites to have a captcha because it's a sign that the site takes care of its security and they want people to be confident and trust their platform, captcha is not a sign that it is being hacked, its a sign that the site is secured from bots and hackers, sometimes captchas are annoying but it's necessary to protect the site.
