Can we also show our bitcoin key to someone closer, maybe love, spouse, next of kin?
Better still between someone; who introduced and taught you about bitcoin, a friend or family member and your children who's most preferred and reliable person to give out our information about your bitcoin?
Your line of thought is very simple for the security concerns of the bitcoins you have, in some cases it doesn't make sense to give the private key to any of the people you mention, unless you really trust them to keep your assets or in the worst case you begin to pass on a bequest of assets that you own if at any time you do not have the opportunity to keep those assets anymore.
But generally nothing can guarantee when you start giving private keys to other people, even if it's family, closest relatives or someone you trust, unless like the worst case that I told you and you intend to pass on the assets to the family as a successor
