France are the most impressive national team globally in the last 25 years. They have very good performances in big tournaments like World Cup, Euro since their first World Cup title at home in France 98.
Since Euro 2016 and World Cup 2018 success, France continue to have very good squad with perfect combination of old and young players. They look to repeat a great success cycle of Spain years ago but they must aim at winning one or two more tittles with this player generation. In football, success for a club or a national team won't last forever. There is a cycle for success and failure as well as period for rebuilding progress. Like Spain, after great success within 10 years, they are struggling to get such success again.
Since World Cup 2022, it seems France had some internal conflicts that potentially damage their power to win titles. Deschamps must resolves such internal conflicts good and avoid similar ones in future.
Even though France is one of the favorite teams to win the Euro this time, the internal conflict within the French national team is a problem that I don't think Deschamps will be able to solve.
yesterday's 4-0 win over the Netherlands was a very good result and proved that Francis is a strong team.
btw, until now, I'm still curious why Deschamps hasn't summoned Benzema, he's not injured, so there shouldn't be any more excuses.
