Any team has a different kind of success may be you are thinking if reaching this stage can be considered a success but chelsea sees that winning UCL is a success since chelsea is still struggling with its performance in the EPL and chelsea had no choice other than winning the competition to be eligible to compete in UCL next season. I think that you shall also understand the position of chelsea at this moment. Once a team has no chance to reach the top 4 in domestic league and a team like chelsea had no choice other than to take UCL trophy.
This is what im thinking about chelsea right now. Chelsea is going all in on UCL caused by it has no chance through EPL. The gap to the top 4 is too big to be chased. Even though chelsea has reached the current stage and it will still become disappointed for chelsea caused by the main aim by the club is final to win trophy.
