I do not think so, it’s like saying we don’t need money, but money sustains life. It will always depend on how you used your money. There are many meaningful things you can used money; e.g., build hospitals, feed the homeless, build schools, fund to teach people, charity works, help technology, supporting the government on enhancing its citizens way of living, and other many things you can do with money that is worthwhile. I have read about “the love of money”, it talks about every behavior of an individual not money itself that is the source of all different types of evil and distress. Money is ethically neutral; I believe there is naught wrong with money or the ownership of wealth. But, once money starts to control a person that is when the trouble began. People being controlled by money will feel superior and takes pride for power which leads to greediness and obsessions of an individual. He or She will enjoy the luxury of life, they will use their money to dictate and control other people for his or her will. Money is a necessity that is why people do fraud, insult, kill, and do bad things to have it. Hence, it is not “the money” but “the love of it” is the root of all evil.

If, money is the root of all evil. well, if this matter is brought into legal language, it is already a verdict that determines that the "suspect" named "money" based on evidence in the field and the many people who testify, is proven in real terms, to have been the cause of all crimes on this earth. Isn't it funny, the real fact is that money was created and functioned as a medium of exchange, nothing more.

But yes, that money can cause people to commit criminal acts of crime, of course, cannot be denied. that money can tempt someone, to take actions that are beyond human rational limits. but actually, if someone wisely uses what is called money, then money can also be a means to do good. so, bad money depends on the intention and how to treat it. if someone enslaves himself to money, then it becomes as stated in the proverb that money is the root of all evil. if money has become "God", then in order to get as much money as possible, people will not hesitate to do anything.

Money and power, like a double-edged sword. money synonymous with power, people who have large amounts of money, can buy power. wrong can be right, otherwise right can be wrong, whether it's in any way. well, basically it's back to each individual and how to define money for him.
