we can not rule out the fact that Mbappe is really have dream to be champions league title. he has felt he couldn't get it in club where don't have mental for that. the only way is to move and switch to another club like Madrid. On another side, Madrid is try to building the dream team, a new Galacticos v.3.0, where they want to try to create a new dream team attacker, Mbappe-Haaland. Which I think is not imposible to happen because they have unlimited money where they can print it on anytime.
Yeah this is a fact about Mbappe. It looks like he really wants to win the Champions League title with PSG as well. Actually they had another chance to go for it this season but they failed really hard. They have been eliminated so early I mean. Their opponent was Bayern Munich of course which was another big title contender. But still PSG should have performed much better against them.
I think Mbappe's decision might depend on whether their current manager is changed or not. I also don't think Galtier is the right manager for this team. If they bring a manager like Zidane for example then Mbappe would definitely like to stay for a long time.
For Mbappe and a player at his age, are young and wants to achieve more titles but it doesn't mean Mbappe should achieve all the goals with PSG, he can join another team to take another achievement other than the french league title, even if Zidane joins his team and start coaching PSG there is still a possibility for PSG to lose champions league in next season and just race for the french league just like this season.
