Unless Chelsea's winning mentality changes after the international break, then we can we can be hopeful that they can do something in their UEFA Champions League quarter final encounter with Real Madrid because for now, don't see them as major contender for the biggest football trophy in Europe.
The owner of the club must be decisive in getting another manager that can drive the Chelsea team to victory. The current manager is just clueless and doesn't have a specific style of play. It seems he does select 11 players and send to the pitch telling them to do whatever they can do to win the match and you can't play a club like Real Madrid with that mentality
Why have you lost faith in this club, Chelsea? Their domestic league performance is not representative of their performance in the Champions League. If there had been any of that, I'm sure they wouldn't have defeated Dortmund and advanced to the quarterfinals. The coach may be clueless and unsure how to manage the team, but one thing is certain: individual brilliance will triumph here, and Chelsea will prove the world wrong.
yeah right. at least hope is still wide open for both teams. But I personally can not predict which one will qualify for the semi-finals. but if we think realistically then for the first leg maybe Real Madrid will be the favourite. because they are the hosts. and maybe Real Madrid will win. but for the second leg I think maybe Chelsea will avenge their defeat in the first leg and win in the second leg when they are playing at home.
Graham potter does not have enough experience for the Champions League. but I think all coaches also start from zero experience. so we really can't underestimate a Graham potter just because he has no experience in the Champions League.
I feel very pessimistic about Chelsea. Currently, Potter's team is not very competitive, especially when the opponent they face is defending champion Real Madrid. These two teams have met and beaten each other in the Champions League. But for this time I am a candidate for Madrid to qualify for the semifinals.
Real Madrid has players and coaches who are very experienced, in contrast to The Blues which is only inhabited by a few experienced players, the rest rely on young players, while their coach, Potter also has absolutely no history in Europe. Because of that, Chelsea will be very nervous to face Real Madrid.
