Chelsea already has no hope in the premier league this season and now playing against Real Madrid in the Champions League, their stars surely isn’t bright. Chelsea performance hasn’t been top notch lately and in my opinion, they don’t stand a chance going in to play Real Madrid with the current form they’ve got.
If we are seeing from the result achieved by chelsea in EPL and i can agree that chelsea has a small chance against madrid but if i were also seeing the history of chelsea in UCL and i would not agree with it caused by chelsea was always winning UCL when chelsea struggling with its performance in EPL. It's quite hard to determine the winner. Chelsea is always giving surprises and it's almost beating madrid.
Chelsea's performance in the Premier League was poor in the 2020–21 season. They still managed to win the Champions League title. Chelsea teams are always surprising. In fact, Chelsea will be far behind Madrid this season. Even so, it cannot be said that Chelsea is unlikely to win. Chelsea's squad is strong enough. And they have the ability to win against Madrid. But Ancelotti is an experienced coach. Potter will need to develop a strong match plan if he wants to win against Ancelotti's match tactics.
In the 2020/2021 season they finished in 4th place, can that be said to be bad for a competition as competitive as the Premier League? Let's compare this season, they are ranked 10th in the standings with their unreliable performance. That makes their Champions League games much more difficult, they are in even worse shape also they are facing a very strong team in the Champions League.

Despite finishing fourth in the Premier League at the start of the 2020–21 season, they were 19 points behind table-toppers Manchester City. Is this a good performance? Chelsea's performance this season has been poorer in the Premier League. But they are playing very well in the Champions League. They qualified for the quarter-finals by defeating Dortmund. Dortmund were no weak opponent. Chelsea also finished the group stage as champions of Group E. So there is no way to neglect this team in the Champions League.
