In the 2020/2021 season they finished in 4th place, can that be said to be bad for a competition as competitive as the Premier League? Let's compare this season, they are ranked 10th in the standings with their unreliable performance. That makes their Champions League games much more difficult, they are in even worse shape also they are facing a very strong team in the Champions League.
Chelsea team has been able to perform well in previous matches. There are some players in the Chelsea squad who are currently at their best. However, some matches were very badly defeated by Chelsea. As such, Chelsea are in a fair position.

Which match do you mean perform well?
Being hold to a draw by a team like Everton, or lost from a team struggling in the relegation zone like Southampton. I have never see Chelsea perform this well before, they even lost in the 1st leg of the UCL round of 16 when they had an away match
How will Chelsea deal with the quarter-final situation, Real Madrid is ready to become a hindrance for them

Good question, Actually the reason why we saw Chelea at this stage instead of Dortmund is the bad performance of Dortmund, Chealea is not improved during the last weeks, however, they were a little bit lucky against Dortmund in the Champions League match, but regarding the match they have against Real Madrid, I don't think if Acceloti will make the same mistakes like Dortmund and here is where Chelsea is going to lose champions league.
