It is always pleasurable to get something like this for free. The amount doesn't matter at all. Actually I'm not considering it as a savings. I received most of those RP from the hourly faucet claim. There is no benefits of keeping the RP after reaching 100k milestone. That's why I exchanged it into BTC.

BTC is a very decent amount to hold on long term. Even though you aren't considering it as savings, it would work pretty well if you were.
The benefit of keeping RPs above the 100K milestone is to be able to exchange more RPs for BTC without having to wait for another 100K accumulated RPs round to do it again...
