Ideally, yes. You should stick to your plan and make calls accordingly. However, that's wishful thinking. You won't be able to do that since you're a human, emotion will affect you whether you're conscious of it or not. You can practice and try to reduce it by following your own trading plan, for example always exit after you make 1% profit each day, and so on.

As others have mentioned, using a bot can also help you if what you want to do is to avoid making emotionally driven decision. But keep in mind that this does not guarantee you any profit, in fact it might gives you bad calls if the market changes rapidly. At the end of the day though, making bad calls is unavoidable, don't strive for perfection and just aim to make profits every day, or every month depending on what kind of trade you're doing.
How can we trade without wanting to make profit, when we all know the reasons why we trade is for us to make profit.I understand robots does not have emotions but I don't think there is any way human being can do it without thinking about the amount of money he has used to trade, and won't get worried whether it will definitely bring out good result,or it will dissappoint. Although some persons who are really financially stable have conditioned their mind in a way that no matter the amount of money they waste while trading, they still don't feel bad,but that doesn't mean they don't think about the money, but they won't just let it affect them. They do it with double minds, either they gain or they lose, and when they lose, they don't get dissappointed because they already have set their minds that anything can happen.
