Head to Head in the last five matches Barcelona has excelled and this will be a big capital for them, plus the match will take place at Camp Nou. But if you look at the readiness of the two, Real Madrid also has the opportunity to turn things around and will secure victory while ensuring qualification for the final. I'm sure Ancelotti will surprise this match and hope it will be a tense match.

Barcelona has played well in every match against Madrid since Xavi took over as Barcelona's coach. Barcelona won the first leg of the Copa del Rey even without their leading scorer Lewandowski in their squad. Barcelona's gameplay was steady. The players are very confident now. Barcelona's defense is also strong now. If Barcelona's attacking players Lewa and Rafinha can play well against Madrid then I guess the Barcelona team can win again against Madrid.
This season Barcelona is superior to Real Madrid, and in several meetings they have been able to win that game. I'm not going to talk about which club will win in this match, but the club that will qualify for the final round. It looks like Barcelona is more comfortable now, how could it not be, they have an aggregate advantage of 1 goal and this will be a home game for them. Barcelona doesn't have to win to be in the final, even a draw can bring them two feet in the decisive round to become champions. Real madrid did not come without hope, but their task was heavier than that of Barcelona.

only 5 points difference from Real Madrid and if Atletico Madrid can continue to maintain consistency then it is not impossible that they will be able to catch up and occupy 2nd place in the standings.
but I think the top La Liga teams don't seem to have too much desire if they don't compete to be champions.
like Real Madrid, they will find it very difficult to catch Barcelona at the top of the standings and maybe because of that it makes their focus and desire to watch La Liga matches not as passionate as before, maybe Real Madrid will focus on the European stage and Atletico could take advantage of that to be able to finish in 2nd place in the final La Liga standings.
I agree that ATM has a "possibility" to catch up to second place, but Real would probably not allow that at all. I think it is obvious that we are going to end up with a situation where it is not going to be as simple as this to keep them losing, that's not a long sustained thing for Real, and that's why I highly doubt anything would change about that neither.

It's obvious that we are going to end up with something much bigger and better coming up from Real, they are going to dominate the rest of the season probably, because they are good and they want to and that's good enough reason for them to do that, maybe they failed so far, but they will do so from here on out.
I'm not too sure about Atletico Madrid's focus right now, are they ambitious to be in 2nd place at the end of the season, or are they just maintaining their position where they are now. After all, I agree that Real Madrid will not allow their position to be taken over by Atletico Madrid. Now their chance to become champions is almost closed, but that doesn't mean they will let their position fall from their current standings.
