It is already a proven fact imho, that a fighter might suck at fighting, but if he managed to stimulate ticker or PPV sales, he will be kept in promotion. UFC is not pure sport, it is entertaining + sport. There are a lot of examples in UFC, when fighters with 3-5 looses in a row are kept in roster, and there are fighters that are released after just one lost, when they got serious of wins. Nobody wants to watch silent Ivan Drago fight. People want big mouths like Clubber Lang
It is true that people do not want to watch fighters who just don't talk trash about his opponent. Very few people actually want to see good fighting. I am not saying the fighters who talk trash a lot are not good. We all know about Chael Sonnen. He was really great with trash-talking. And he also generated a lot of buzz around his fight every time. It is always fun to see a great build-up around a fight. Personally, I don't like too much trash-talking. But of course, what I like is not going to be liked by the majority probably.
That is not important at all, Mike Tyson was not a likeable character, he didn't smile much and he dominated boxing for years.
My prediction is that Pereira probably winning on points, unless Adesanya make huge surprise with his fighting style and dominates more with wrestling.
I think both of them are good in stand up, Adesanya is faster, Pereira is stronger, but all other skills outside kickboxing is advantage for Adesanya.
I remember how people talked about how huge Pereira was in their fight. Ability to do extreme weight cuts gonna help him to win again. I feel like Pereira is preparing some kind of a bomb for us. While Adesanya is on public, selling their fight, Pereira is at him gym, mastering his skills. Never seen before how Pereira was even dazed. It will be super hard for Adesanya to knock out this guy. But if the fight goes to judges, they gonna be in favour of a champ, if he did not finish Adesanya before.
P.S. Look how bad people are

Adesanya did just one mistake, just one loss, and people already see and predict 1001 way how Pereira gonna finish him

Does anyone else think that the skills of Israel Adesanya are not as good as they were before or is it just me? I really feel like he is not as good as he was before anymore. Of course, it is not like he is not good anymore. But I certainly feel that he has already been accepted by the people as one of the best in the world. Probably that has also gone into his head. He should of course stop thinking so much about promoting the fight and actually train hard enough for his opponent. Because I certainly think it is not going to be easy for him to beat Alex Pereira.
