Or he could be sick, like something serious and maybe he is fighting that and meanwhile doesn't want to take care of here either. All these possibilities are probable and I think that we can easily say that if we want to leave and not gamble here, LL doesn't mind, so it's not really a big deal.
I don't think Lightlord is down with any sickness since that has not been reported here anytime in the past, but I know age is no longer on Lightlord's side and at that he may not be able to afford to be online all the time, but I know he is fine because his account has been active a couple of time after covid before he went inactive this time.
*The best decision we could make right now in this situation is to avoid the site for now unless things change in the future, if not we just have to find better alternatives to Bitvest and its sisters' company owned and operated by the same light lord.
Looking at the level of speculation on this thread I'm not at all surprised that the admins prefer to stay away from bitcointalk

Reading through the comments one could get the impression that the site is dead and only run by some elderly guy with multiple terminal illnesses, that the site is long abandoned by all the players/investors, and that there's no activity or customer service at all.
That's a massive exaggeration, the activity seems stable (see my post above), customer service tickets generally get responded to, not sure about LL, but the co-owner, Zodiac, is reportedly active on the site's chat.
Let's not make up doom-and-gloom scenarios just become they're no longer active on bitcointalk.
