Chelsea has named Their former player and manager in the person of Frank Lampard as the interim manager till the end of the season. But what I don't know is if that decision will yield a good result for the London club.
Lampard undoubtedly is good manager but I still think he's still an average Manager that's not up to the standard of Chelsea as a club.
Lampard is a legendary player in Chelsea and he holds an all time record as a best scorer for the club. He will surely get respect from Chelsea players and it is more safely choice of Chelsea than appointing young coaches like Nagelsman. It can be helpful for Chelsea in just few remaining months and matches of the season. Chelsea also need time to deeply think of their plans before can filter available coaches and pick one for a next season.

They have a UEFA Champions League quarter final tie against a big team like Real Madrid and with the current happenings in the club I doubt that Lampard can come in and have a great effect on the team
I am doubtful that this temporary appointment can help Chelsea in matches with Real Madrid. Firstly Lampard did not manage his clubs well so far in his coach career. Secondly Real Madrid have very good performances recent weeks and they just destroyed Barcelona 4 - 0 in Coppa del Rey. Benzema and Vinicius will be able to break Chelsea defense and score goals for Real. Rodrygo is playing well and more matured in this season. He together with Vinicius can give very good support for Benzema at center of their attacking system.
