As the hype around the news mount, approximately $1.7 billion has been pumped into Dogecoin’s market capitalization in an extremely short period of time pushing the meme coin’s market cap to reach $12.76 billion, the highest figure since December 2022.
if you just look at current capitalization I don't know where you were around May 2021, when dogecoin hit ATH. The capitalization was much larger then than it is now, but I don't think this is too important in this market, as we all see that the market size is very small compared to other market sectors. Maybe some of the hype over the past few days suggests price manipulation for this coin, but I know it will still have supporters and believers who are even more bullish than it is right now. Anyway, the fact that Elon Musk is having too much influence on this coin, makes me more and more alienated from it and really don't think this is a coin worth long-term investment.
