Newcastle seem to have gone into overdrive of late, they keep scoring too many goals and just last night they got 5 passed westham which was unexpected!
And if Manchester United and Newcastle end this campaign with same points they will remain on top because of their superior goal scoring... I guess big money is now working at Newcastle , wonder if these guys are given goal scoring bonuses because the team looks highly motivated and getting the job done.
From the look of things a top four finish looks guaranteed for these guys, thanks to their consistency.

Newcastle had a bad spell in the autumn, but then they were able to overcome their draw tendencies and went on a long winning streak. Now it looks like history has repeated itself - they survived the recession and began to churn out victories. In such conditions, Tottenham (which have played one game more, while they have 3 points less) has no chance to break into the fight for the top 4. Not to mention the clubs that are even lower.
On the other hand, when you look at their battle conditions in the remaining matches it's clear that this will be a little more complicated for them. Week 4 of this month will really be a little difficult for them to live because indeed in the last week of April there are Newcastle, Manchester United who are currently competing with Tottenham and there is Liverpool even though for the last few matches Liverpool seem to have returned to their bad phase .
This is a stumbling block that is difficult to return to for Tottenham if they want to try to force a top 4 position.
