I have a mixed feeling about this short term appointment. But looking at it from the owners perspective, there just 10 games remaining and I think it's a right decision they have made instead of rushing into things not well assessed, it is better you get Lampard as an interim manager as there looking to bring in a good manager slowly. Hopefully he's able to win majority of the remaining games in the PL, and try to finish in the Europa league places. Also, the owners need to make a good decision with the permanent manager. So far, all the decisions made haven't gone anywhere.
Interim manager would be very suitable position for him. lampard got sacked by abramovich caused by he has poor performance with chelsea. I don't even know what aspect that makes todd was signing him back again as caretaker until the end of season.

It's terrible that the Chelsea Club fell into the hands of someone who chooses coaches based on relationships he has had in the past with them, and I question why he chose Potter and now Lampard, given the circumstances of Chelsea being in the premier league and the sacking of Lampard by the previous owner.
