How can someone start an investment with about $100-500 and within 24 hours have made about $10-20,000?
Is this kind of story not too clearly fabricated? Yet someone with the right sense will now be convinced that it's true.

I would say it is the narrative they read or were told about coming into this crypto space. If you remember the early days of airdrop where people just got tokens of Altcoins and over night one they lunch such coins it starts to pump and rise to close a 100 or even 1000 percent. Some of these stories has made many to believe it is attainable. No matter how we are learned one shouldn’t undermine those scammers.

Testimonies indicate that numerous people have had their accounts compromised and exploited for fraud, and that bitcoin frauds are growing and gaining a lot of attention.

OP this are actually old methods of scam that one shouldn’t be falling prey to at this age. Most people that fall for this are those that actually are too lazy to do some research. Moreover no matter how convincing a discussion could be on social media it is one place to not trust just anyone.

You can take look at some scam strategies listed here
