Some may think of their family but maybe not in the manner that we should expect. An addicted gambler will give himself any reason to ensure that he consoles himself to continue gambling. They can even tell themselves that they are doing it for their family and that if they win, they and their family will benefit, but the thing is many of them do not consider how their losses and habit is affecting their family. People who are are addicts are mainly self centered and care less about other people but their own personal pleasure.
