Crypto or bitcoin per se?
Bitcoin was designed by Satoshi as P2P and as a means of payment scheme, however, not it become one of the most sought assets because the price has the potential to increased in the future.
So I guess everyone here has his/her opinion on bitcoin, so there's no single objective in my opinion. You can used is as designed, or with the current banking crisis, hedge against inflation and store of value.
