If Arsenal can beat Liverpool in the upcoming match then of course Arsenal can be said to be one step ahead to get closer to winning the title this season. but the difference in points between Arsenal and Man City cannot be said to be safe either. because Man City has one delayed match that they can use to reduce the point gap with Arsenal. but as long as Arsenal can continue to win the remaining games then we can be sure Arsenal will not be stopped this season.
The game between Arsnal and Liverpool is as important as winning the league title, It very important that they need fight very hard in that game with their strength, energy and every tactics that they got in order to secure this victory from Liverpool, failure to do so, means giving more opportunity to their major league contender Manchester City to close up the point gaps that Arsenal is using to be ahead of City, and may eventually deny them the title they have been fighting for since the beginning of the season on just getting towards the conclusion of the season.
I have a bit of a feeling that Arsenal could have one more struggle and allow Manchester City to get closer. It could be this game against Liverpool because it is a bit treacherous to play against them. On the one hand they are obviously having a lot of problems and the standing in the table reflects that, but on the other hand they have beaten Manchester City in their home game in the first half of the season where they already had their severe problems. I think Arsenal should play against them as if it is the Liverpool that won the Premier League a while ago. If Manchester City get close to Arsenal with just two points in between them, the interesting part about that will be to see how Arsenal handles the heat as they haven't been in such a position for a very long time. Nevertheless, this season they play like a grown up team that has never done anything else.
Arsenal match against Liverpool at Anfield will the true test that could make or mar their title aspiration, they had never won in Anfield since 2012 when Arteta was in their squad as a player, however the zeal to win the league coupled with the poor run of Liverpool in the league might motivate Arsenal to go for atleast a draw in Anfield which I think will be fair result considering the vociferous support Liverpool enjoyed in Anfield and always a difficult ground for visitors, I hope Arsenal will be well prepared for home advantage Liverpool though Arsenal plays well in most of their away matches I hope they will replicate those brilliant performance at Anfield on Sunday.
