I think it is true and the players will respect him more than Graham Potter. Graham Potter I think neither has something to show as a player nor does he really as a coach. Lampard was a damn good player and he has some experience as well as a coach. On top of that he won't be asking a Guardiola-like salary.
Graham Potter has no record in England while Lampard is one of the most respected football in England and at Chelsea he's a god, he's the highest scoring player for the club while been a midfielder. Hardly before you see midfielder getting the top scorer title but Lampard did that with ease so obviously he will be respected at the club and the players will give him much respect then Graham Potter. Although it isn't just respect ww want as fans, we need something to take home, we want to see some positivity with the clubs. We want to see the players pick up form and most importantly, we await Lampard influence on Mason Mount.
Karim Benzema's top form will be needed in their coming games especially when they face Chelsea in their champions league quarter finals meeting. Real Madrid has been quite impressive in their recent games, the squad is strong and will be a tough opponent for Lampard.
Karim Benzema does enjoy scoring against Chelsea and now that he's inform, that's going to be a problem for the Chelsea defense. Under Graham Potter we lack defensive understanding between the defensive players as our goal keeper was always exposed when the opposition side comes attacking which is why we have conceded lots of goals this season. I feel Frank Lampard should use the 3-5-3 formation. We don't look defensively strong when we play a four man defense.
