I also don't agree with where Lampard should aim for that result in the Champions League and Premier League. We cannot rely on Chelsea's past performance in the hands of Lampard, because Chelsea's condition this season has been far from the way it should be. It's not easy to carry a heavy duty. In addition, Lampard is currently categorized as a one-season coach and his fate next season may not be extended. Todd Boehly is quite a wasteful person so it is possible that next season Lampard will be replaced.
There's so much at stake that appointing Frank Lampard as the caretaker manager could turn out to be the best decision Todd Boehly has made since he took over Chelsea football club. Frank Lampard was jobless before the appointment and will want to prove that he isn't a flop as a manager because his career so far as a coach in England has been disastrous. He'll want to prove his haters wrong and what better way to do that than what the struggling Chelsea that has been having a bad season. At it stands, Frank Lampard has everything to lose so he'll give it his 100% and worst case we lose everything but still there'll be evidence that he did his best with the club.
This season Chelsea has been a joke so it'll take a miracle to turn Chelsea fate around this season. As for the Wolves vs Chelsea game been played later this afternoon, It's going to be a tough match but I see Chelsea winning the game. I'm hoping the new manager effect comes to play here as everyone would want to impress the coach by giving in their best. Wolves has been a tough team for Chelsea to win as in the last 5 meetings we both have one win each with 3 draws. The last game was won by Chelsea with a 3:0 scoreline and hopeful we can achieve same results this afternoon because Chelsea desperately need some motivation to get back on track for the champions league.
