I must say I am disappointed at the results from Anfield because it has made our title race more stiff now. Like you said, it's been a long while since we won the title and I would love to see us win the league this season. Let's just hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
As I said before, getting 1 point at Anfield is not the best result that Arsenal got, but it's not bad to get 1 point either. That's Liverpool not Brentford, Brighton or Bournemouth. It's very difficult to beat them even though Arsenal almost beat them. I still believe that Arsenal will win the EPL title this season. Currently Arteta must really keep his players fit and must be aware of the storm of injuries that might occur at the end of the league.
I also thought Liverpool could equalize. they increased the intensity of the attacks well and it was quite difficult for the Arsenal defenders to anticipate.
overall, both of them played well in this fight. Arsenal almost brought 3 points, but Liverpool made a very good response to prevent their worst possibility from happening.
1 additional point is not so good for Liverpool. they have to fix it in the next game to make a good finishing position for Liverpool this season.
It was an exciting match with plenty of twists and turns. Liverpool rescues a point from Arsenal, so Roberto Firmino's goal undoubtedly provided a great moment for the team. Yes, Liverpool struggles this season, but it's great to see they still have a strong record against Arsenal. Even on their worst season, Arsenal can't manage to get the three points. Liverpool played really well in the second half, and could have won the game. It's always encouraging to see a team show passion and determination, when they're up against the league leaders.
