Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?
Social media is still active in the area of socialization. Though the business aspect is taking over the socialization but the business can not be very effective without the socialization. As of 2011-2015 business hubs where not much as it is today. Now social media is full with advertisement with pages, and business hubs.
The digitalization is also part of the recent increase of online businesses. And also the cashless policy introduced by some countries.
