45 minutes have been played into this match and right now it is the halftime break. Neither team has been able to score in this match so far. I was a little surprised to be honest to see that Barcelona was still unable to score. After all, Barcelona is going up against a team that is at the main table right now. Probably Barcelona is taking things easy because they already have a very good lead. But that does not mean Barcelona can afford to drop points in matches like this.
Actually Barcelona almost scored in the first half, but somehow Araujo's goal was not considered legal even though I think the ball crossed the line. By now the second half had been going on for a few minutes, the score was still 0-0 even though Barcelona had had lot of shots.
Nonetheless, I think the match is still long enough and I can still expect Barcelona to win instead of a goalless draw. Girona have been lucky so far not to concede a goal, but I hope Barcelona eventually score the winner before the match is over.
The game has ended with draw, Barcelona performance was very impressive but they could score goal. Girona performance was looking different in this match , so difficult for Barcelona to have advantage of them. Since Real Madrid lost in their last game this draw game won't have any effect on Barcelona.
