It is rumoured that Messi's father has met Barcelona already but there isn't any agreement for Messi to return for now. However I'm quite confident that Messi is looking forward to returning home.
He has been doing a really good job at PSG so far. He has impressed people with his performance for his new team as well. However it still looks like he doesn't feel himself belonging here. He doesn't look willing to extend his contract either. In this case I would also like to see him back at Barcelona. Maybe Xavi is building a different team now but Messi would be welcomed happily there anyway.
But with things like this and wanting to force Messi back to Barcelona, they have to be prepared to sell some of their best players.
Messi's return if it really happens will further make their balance not improve especially now they also have to prepare around more than 170 million to balance their coffers and when Messi returns it means they have to empty more funds and of course selling star players is the way.
But on the other hand, I think it won't be worth it even if Messi presence will bring a little blessing from sponsorship.
Because there has not been a new contract agreement that has occurred between Messi and PSG, Messi can be without a club next season. Barcelona are trying to bring in Messi even though they have to sell several players in order to bring Messi back to Camp Nou. It is reported that Barcelona will release several players who don't contribute to the team. Players like Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Ansu Fati will soon be sold in order to sign Messi.
Barcelona must leave space in their squad to welcome Messi arrival. Barcelona must move quickly to get Messi because Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal and MLS Club Inter Miami are also trying to sign Messi.
