Barcelona draw against Girona was unexpected for me. I thought they were trying to literally kill the title competition and declare themselves champions before many rounds but they postponed or exactly delayed it.
So far Barcelona have 13 points difference from Real Madrid so they have to win in the next 4 rounds out of 10 to get the title earlier.
I assumed Barcelona would win from the beginning of the game because of the way they were playing, but when they started missing scoring opportunities against Girona around the 88-minute I realized they wouldn't score again. This came as a surprise because I assumed Barcelona would win, and they really cut off some of their fans' bets because most people think Barcelona will win the match.
The top teams, like Barcelona and Real Madrid, typically think that if they have a match against other teams they can't be beat cause they are ahead by a few points, it gives the other teams a chance to play well with them and affects their points. I just hope Barcelona performs well in their upcoming game to claim the La Liga championship.
